ABOUT US
Playhouse Theatre Incorporated (PTI) is the resident theatre company of the Glen Eden Playhouse Theatre. The purpose of PTI is to celebrate dynamic, vibrant and successful theatre in the West Auckland area. We have been around since 1992 and have produced well over 100+ shows. Throughout the years we have worked with a number of performers, technicians and creatives who have gone onto successful and diverse careers in the theatre, musical and production industries.
Some highlights from the past few years include;

- First completely under-18 show produced, directed and performed. (Beauty and the Beast Jr in 2018)
- Number of awards at the Auckland-wide NAPTAs and ACTT award evenings (ongoing)
- Diverse Committee including two members under the age of 21
- Formation of the “back-shed group” which has an age range of 5-80 and includes a number of ethnicities who build sets, props and form the back-bone of our backstage team
